Deeper together…
Rhythms is a tool for 3 or 4 people to meet regularly and contend for the kinds of patterns in each other’s lives that will help one another be with Jesus, become like him and do the things he did. They are designed to be groups that are safe enough to heal but dangerous enough to grow and are therefore vehicles for bringing about genuine transformation in each other’s lives.
Below is a guide to the material, have a little look at it. We are going to hold regular afternoons and evenings for people to find out more information. If you want to come along to one of these, go to the ‘What’s On’ page for the next date.
We wholeheartedly follow Jesus through daily, weekly, and monthly rhythms that open us up to the renewing power of the Spirit.

Our vision at St Gregory’s is to wholeheartedly follow Jesus and serve him in Cornwall and beyond. But we know we aren’t going to fulfil that vision simply through wishful thinking.
Rhythms is a resource for groups of three to four people to use to help each other build a life centred on Jesus.

So many elements of modern life conspire against a life deeply formed in the way of Jesus. We recognise that we are being powerfully shaped every day by the world around us and so we need to be intentional about pursuing maturity in Christ.
If we are going to pursue this way of life, it requires change. But real change is hard. And harder to do on your own. We need each other so this resource is as much about contending for breakthrough for others, as it is yourself.

Rhythms is centred around building daily, weekly and monthly patterns which open us to the renewing power of the Spirit.
The groups are made up of 3-4 people who will share stories, take up new rhythms and pray for each other fortnightly, or as frequently as they wish.
Step by…
Step 1 // Find a Group
Step one is to find 2-3 other people who also want to continue learning what it looks like to be with Jesus, become like him and do the things he did in everyday life. Click below for some tips and advice on how to form a group
Step 2 // Share Your Story
We all want to be deeply known and, while this process can’t be fast tracked, a way of allowing people to know us is to share your story. The first thing you will do as a group is share and listen to each others stories.
Step 3 // Establishing Patterns
When starting something new, everyone will have different expectations. To be helpful and kind to each other, make some collective decisions about what patterns your group will take on.
Step 4 // Contending for Change
Each time you meet you will be prayerfully and practically contending for breakthrough for each other. This is about giving space for each person to share and being prayed for.
